Jake Lear Plays in Sag Harbor

The Sag Harbor Masonic Club will host the return of bluesman Jake Lear to the stage. Lear was raised on the music of John Lee Hooker, Jimi Hendrix and Howling Wolf and he brings his rocking band to the Masonic Temple on April 22 at 8 p.m. The $20 admission supports gifts to local charities and the music series is produced by The Sag Harbor Masonic Club and the Freemason Brothers of Wamponamon Lodge.

The Sag Harbor Masonic Club also presents The Jam Session every Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m., which brings the finest musicians from near and far to perform. Admission is $15. Unable to make it to the live show? It airs Sundays, 8 p.m. on WLIW 88.3

The Masonic Music Series is a singer-songwriter series featuring the best of the East End’s musical performers in an intimate setting. Performances are in the unique inner sanctum of the Masonic Temple. The Masonic Temple is located at 200 Main Street, Sag Harbor above The Sag Harbor Whaling Museum with plenty of parking in the rear of the building.
