Jazz Fest Presents Mafalda Minnozzi and Paul Ricci at The Church

authorStaff Writer on Jul 30, 2023

Hamptons Jazz Fest will present duo, vocalist Mafalda Minnozzi and guitarist Paul Ricci and their quintet at The Church in Sag Harbor on Thursday, August 24, from 5:30 to 8 p.m.

Minnozzi’s vocal range and versatile timbral pallet, coupled with her charismatic stage presence blurs the dividing line between singer and improviser. Ricci’s unique fingerpicking style jazz, influenced by and infused with bossa and blues, has amazed fellow guitarists and jazz critics alike. Minnozzi and Ricci have performed with legends like Harry Belafonte and Bobby Sanabria and are a well-practiced duo that reveal their experience and talent on the stage.

Hamptons Jazz Fest — produced by The Jam Session, Inc. — is a series of performances by world-class musicians in the fields of jazz, Latin, and world music. Now through September, festival concerts are being presented at a range of venues across the East End.

Tickets are $25 for members and $30 for nonmembers ($15 students) at thechurchsagharbor.org.The Church is located at 48 Madison Street, Sag Harbor.
