Gearing up for summer, Southampton Arts Center (SAC) has announced a full lineup of events, including an expanded partnership with Hamptons Jazz Fest to include collaborations with Jazz at Lincoln Center. Kids’ programming will also return next month, along with the continuation of other SAC pillar programming.

SAC’s newest exhibition, “TECHSPRESSIONISM – Digital & Beyond,” has been extended and will run through July 23. Featuring the works of more than 90 artists from around the world working in technology, the show, curated by Colin Goldberg, includes a selection of paintings, sculptures, NFTs, video works, animations, installation works and prints. Kids: Ramblin’ Dan’s Freewheelin’ Band – Wednesdays, June 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 classes from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Ramblin’ Dan’s Freewheelin’ Band provides high energy and engaging music classes for kids, from zero to 4 years old. Driven by playful musicality and skillful guitar work, sessions are about having fun in pressure-free and comforting atmosphere, helping kids gain confidence.

Studio @ SAC: Figure Drawing Workshop – Fridays, June 3, 10, 17, 24 at 1 p.m.

Working from a live model, artist Linda Capello’s figure drawing workshop will explore techniques of line, mass, gesture, proportion, and foreshortening, starting with short poses and working toward one long pose. Registration required.

Live: Hamptons Jazz Fest With Noah Preminger – Friday, June 3 at 6 p.m.

Southampton Arts Center and Hamptons Jazz Fest present saxophonist Noah Preminger for an evening of jazz and cocktails. Mix and mingle with musicians at 6 p.m. during social hour with bar service. Concert begins at 7 p.m. Tables are first come, first serve.

Wellness: Sound Meditation – Saturdays, June 4 and June 18 at 10:30 a.m.

Soothing, deeply relaxing and immersive Sound Meditation led by bowl master and meditation DJ Daniel Lauter.

Live: Hamptons Jazz Fest With Sean Mason Quintet – Sunday, June 12 at 7 p.m.

Southampton Arts Center and Hamptons Jazz Fest, in collaboration with Jazz at Lincoln Center, present Sean Mason Quintet for an evening of jazz and cocktails. Tables are first come, first serve.

Cocktail Party: Whimsy: A Garden Soirée – Saturday, June 25 at 6 p.m.

Welcome summer by strolling the sculpture garden and joining to celebrate a new season at SAC.

Film + Panel: “The Crime Of The Century” – Sunday, June 26 at 6 p.m.

In collaboration with Blossom Sustainable Development, SAC will screen ‘The Crime of the Century.” The film is a searing indictment of big pharma and the political operatives and government regulations that enabled over-production, reckless distribution and mass abuse of synthetic opiates. This co-presentation features Donna Bess, TOR Project Behavioral Health Coordinator, and Meesha Johnson, Blossom Sustainable Development MSW CASAC-T Program Director: SAMHSA Tribal Opioid Response (TOR).
