On the heels of her 2018 Tony Award nomination as Best Lead Actress in a Musical for her role in "Summer: The Donna Summer Musical," LaChanze comes to Bay Street Theater on Monday, August 5, at 8 p.m. to perform "LaChanze: The Feeling Good Tour" as part of the Music Mondays Concert series.

The Tony and Emmy Award winning singer recently released her EP titled "Feeling Good" and at the Bay Street show, audiences will get a peek into LaChanze's life through song with performances of original material as well as musical highlights from her career.

LaChanze's upcoming memoir, "Feeling Good," is set to be published by Scholastic next year. In addition to the Donna Summer show, LaChanze’s theatre credits include "The Color Purple" (2006 Tony Award for Best Performance by a Leading Lady in Musical), "Once On This Island" (nominations, Tony, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle),
"Ragtime," "Company," "Uptown... It’s Hot," and "If/Then."

LaChanze has also appeared in many films and television shows, including on the PBS special of "Handel’s Messiah Rocks: A Joyful Noise" for which she earned an Emmy Award.

Tickets are $79 to $125 at baystreet.org or 631-725-9500. Music Mondays continues with John Lloyd Young on August 19 and Isaac Mizrahi on August 26. Bay Street Theater is on Long Wharf in Sag Harbor.
