The Bridgehampton Museum will present “Echoes & Nostalgia,” a special exhibition of works from the collection of filmmaker, collector and longtime Bridgehampton resident Lana Jokel. The show will open with a public reception on Thursday, August 21, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Nathaniel Rogers House in Bridgehampton. The exhibition will remain on view through September 21.

“Echoes & Nostalgia” features an exquisite and personal selection of artworks collected by Jokel over decades, reflecting her deep connections to both the local arts community and the international contemporary art world. The show includes works by close friends and celebrated artists such as John Chamberlain, Jasper Johns, Claes Oldenburg, Ed Ruscha and Andy Warhol, among many others.

Jokel, known for her documentary films on major artists, has long played a vital role in documenting and preserving the history of American contemporary art. This exhibition offers a rare glimpse into her private collection and the influential circle of artists who helped shape the creative landscape of the East End.

The Nathaniel Rogers House is at 2539 Montauk Highway in Bridgehampton. For more information, visit bhmuseum.org.
