The 12th annual Authors Night to benefit East Hampton Library was held Saturday, August 13, on a Maidstone Lane field with 100 authors signing their books, ranging from cookbooks and memoirs to novels and American history books. The honorary co-chairs were Christie Brinkley, Robert A. Caro, Dick Cavett, Mary Higgins Clark, Nelson DeMille, Gwyneth Paltrow, Eric Ripert and Dr. Ruth Westheimer.
