Bay Street Theater is heading across the pond to take in some theater, and you’re invited to go along for six nights, five shows and four dinners in London.
The tour runs February 23 to March 1, 2020 and departs from New York on February 23, arriving in London on the morning of February 24, for a six-night stay at the Ritz Hotel overlooking Green Park.
The theater part of the trip begins that evening with a performance of director Scott Schwartz’s new musical “Prince of Egypt” just before its official opening on February 25, with a meet and greet with the cast after the show.
Other offerings during the stay will include a mixer with drama students at LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art), performances at the Menier Chocolate Factory, the National Theatre with a tour backstage, an immersive theatrical experience of the “Great Gatsby,” as well as performances of “Taming of the Shrew” at the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse, an indoor theater forming part of Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, and a special performance at the London County Hall of “Witness For The Prosecution.”
The trip includes dining at four of London's premiere restaurants.
Cost for the land portion of the tour is $5,860 per person based on double occupancy, including English breakfast and VAT daily. Single room supplement is $2,405, plus a tax-deductible contribution of $1,000 per person to Bay Street Theater.
