For the sixth year in a row, Sag Harbor’s RJD Gallery will host an art exhibit benefiting The Retreat, the only non-profit domestic violence agency serving the East End of Long Island. “Light in the Tunnel” will open on Saturday, April 25 with a reception from 6 to 8 p.m. The exhibit features three accomplished artists: Gail Postal, Stephan Slater and Lauren Tilden, who were handpicked from hundreds of perspective artists who submitted sample works last fall. Artists Deborah Buck, Eva Iacono and Carol Quint earned honorable mentions in the contest.

The artists have created works specifically for the show that will be priced from $1,200 to $12,000. A portion of the proceeds go directly to The Retreat.

“We are proud to support The Retreat and raise awareness for the only domestic violence agency on the East End, as they continue to provide safety, shelter and support to the victims of domestic abuse, and seek to break the cycle of family violence,” said Richard J. Demato, Retreat Board Member and owner the RJD Gallery. “The Retreat is where violence ends and hope begins.”

“Light in the Tunnel will be on display at the RJD Gallery, 90 Main Street in Sag Harbor, through May 4. For more information, call (631) 725-1161 or visit rjdgallery.com.
