LongHouse Reserve invites the public to an exclusive preview vernissage of “Luminosity: LongHouse Benefit & Auction 2025” on Thursday, July 10, from 5 to 8 p.m. This special evening offers guests a first look at the auction artworks and a chance to meet the featured artists in person, all within the gardens and grounds of LongHouse at the height of summer.

The vernissage is free and open to the public with RSVP. Light refreshments will be served. The event provides early access to the works that will be auctioned at the benefit and an opportunity to engage with the artists in a relaxed, intimate setting.

The curated auction features more than 70 acclaimed artists, including: Laurie Anderson, Daniel Arsham, Ross Bleckner, Vija Celmins, Liz Collins, Renee Cox, Michael De Feo, Maryam Eisler, Eric Fischl, Caio Fonseca, Burt Glinn, Mary Heilmann, Joel Mesler, Lola Montes, Betty Parsons, Jill Platner, Dalton Portella, Martin Puryear, Kenny Schachter, Kenny Scharf, Cindy Sherman, Robert Wilson and many more. There are 71 lots available and bidding is live on Artsy and onsite at the vernissage.

The “Luminosity Summer Benefit & Auction” follows on Saturday, July 12, from 6 to 11 p.m., honoring artist Vija Celmins and community champions Mary Jane and Charles Brock. Tickets are available at multiple levels:

Seedling Ticket – $1,500: Includes cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, a farm-to-table dinner, entertainment and access to the Afterparty at the Fly’s Eye Dome. Complimentary shuttle service is included; valet parking is available for $500. Approximately $1,175 of this ticket is tax-deductible.

Dance Party Ticket – $200: Grants entry to the Afterparty only (9 to 11 p.m.) at the Fly’s Eye Dome, featuring a live DJ, dancing and desserts.

Valet Parking – $500: Optional add-on for Seedling guests.

All proceeds support LongHouse Reserve’s exhibitions, educational programming and preservation of the 16-acre sculpture garden and cultural center. RSVPs and ticket purchases are available at longhouse.org. LongHouse Reserve is at 133 Hands Creek Road in East Hampton.
