Mark Borghi Launches Second Installment Of ‘Insta Select’

authorStaff Writer on Feb 25, 2022

Based on the success of Mark Borghi Fine Art’s first open-call group show entitled “Insta Select,” which was hosted at the 52 East 76th Street location in Manhattan, the gallery will now launch a second version of “Insta Select” at its Sag Harbor location.

Over the last two years many emerging artists have strived to achieve new socially engaging works that aim to heal, question, inform and instigate. Mark Borghi Fine Art not only showcases historically important modernist works, but also seeks to exhibit the most provocative contemporary artwork being produced today.

“Insta Select” showcases over 40 select works of varied mediums, styles and narratives. The artists and works were carefully selected by the gallery’s curatorial committee based on both formalist achievement and conceptual ingenuity. The exhibition will run March 4 through March 31 and an opening reception will be held on the evening of Saturday, March 5.

The participating artists are: Abhishek Tuiwala, Alan Neider, Albert Simpson, Alison Causer, Allison Hudson, Bill Rbak, Bradley Narduzzi Rex, Chris Kelly, Daniel Neumann, Debbie Zilili, Diane Novetsky, Edreys Wajed, Elizabeth Karsch, Emily Rudnick, Erin Parsch, Fern Apfel, Frank Born, Hayley Youngs, Helena Gorey, Hiroshi Shafer, Ilknur Demirkoparan, Irina Lakshin, Javier Ruiz-Lopez, Jeffrey Ackerman, Jennifer Pochinski, Jim Slusarz, Joanna Borkowska, Kelly Chuning, Lamar Jones, M. Zil, Mark William Wilson, Matthew Magee, Miles Jaffe, Parme Marin, Patricia Tewes, Richards Robert Forman, Russ Rubin, Shannon Blanton, Stephen Lorber, Stephen Wysocki and Victor Raul Garcia.

Mark Borghi Gallery is at 34 Main Street in Sag Harbor. For information, visit markborghi.com.
