Next weekend, a dream will come true for Montauk’s own Nancy Atlas as she travels to Woodstock, New York to perform with the Nancy Atlas Project and Clark Gayton at the Barn at Levon Helm Studios — the home and music venue of the late drummer, known as a member of The Band, and for the Midnight Ramble sessions he began that brought scores of music lovers to Woodstock to see one of Americana’s most iconic figures perform with some of the best the music world has to offer.

"My goal is to blow the roof off so that we get asked back again,” Ms. Atlas said in an interview with The Sag Harbor Express. "We continue to work because [our following] continues to come and we never forget that. We honor that by keeping the shows real and to the bone. So an advanced thank you to anyone making the trip or spreading the word."

Tickets to the concert are $35; $25 for standing room only and can be purchased at levonhelm.com.
