The Suffolk presents critically acclaimed indie pop/rock band Nicotine Dolls on Friday, August 16, at 8 p.m. The New York City based indie pop/rock band formed in 2017 featuring lead singer Sam Cieri, guitarist John Hays, bassist John Merritt and drummer Abel Tabares.

The band built a strong and devoted fan base through social media and has been steadily releasing singles and EPs since 2019. The group’s most recent release “What Makes You Sad” garnered over 19,000 presaves and opened at #5 on the iTunes all genre chart.

These rising rockers also gained attention when lead singer Sam Cieri appeared on “America’s Got Talent,” wowing the judges with his unexpected voice. Between their undeniably catchy love songs to the likes of Ed Sheeran or their inspiring covers of classics like Tina Turner’s “The Best,” Nicotine Dolls are well on their way to becoming one of the leading pop/rock bands of this generation.

Tickets are $35 to $55 at thesuffolk.org. The Suffolk is at 118 East Main Street in Riverhead.
