The Suffolk will present “Michael Harrison’s Ventastic” on Sunday, September 21, at 2 p.m., bringing the acclaimed ventriloquist and puppeteer to Long Island for an afternoon of family-friendly entertainment.

Harrison, based in Victoria, British Columbia, has performed around the world with his high-energy show that reimagines the traditional art of ventriloquism. Featuring original puppets and inventive comedy routines, “Ventastic” blends vaudeville roots with modern humor, appealing to audiences of all ages.

With more than 30 years of experience, Harrison has appeared on “America’s Got Talent” and worked alongside Kelly Clarkson, The Muppets and Boyz II Men. He has headlined on major cruise lines such as Disney, Royal Caribbean and Norwegian, and has performed at renowned venues including the Rainbow Room at Rockefeller Center and Atlantis Resort in the Caribbean.

A fourth-generation entertainer, Harrison pays tribute to his great-grandfather, Frank Merryfield, a vaudeville ventriloquist, while bringing a fresh perspective to the art form. His credits also include writing and performing on the award-winning television show “Kids in the Firehall” and starring in the reality pilot “The Dummy Test.”

Described as “hilarious, amazing, unforgettable,” Harrison’s one-man show promises a mix of puppetry, comedy and audience interaction in a performance tailored for today’s theatergoer.

Tickets $39 to $45 at thesuffolk.org The Suffolk is located at 118 East Main Street in Riverhead.
