Our Fabulous Variety Show (OFVS) presents their 12th production and 5th annual holiday show: A Spectacular Christmas Carol, a re-telling of the classic Dickens’ tale, A Christmas Carol, told through the twists and turns of its variety show. The show premiered last December 2014 and will return to Guild Hall, opening at the John Drew Theater on Friday, December 4 at 7:30 p.m., with performances continuing on Saturday, December 5 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., and another matinee performance on Sunday, December 6 at 2 p.m.

OFVS’ production will benefit the OFVS Performing Arts Scholarship Fund as well as the organization HUGS, Inc., a youth

empowerment organization on the East End. The OFVS Performing Arts Scholarship Fund was established in July 2014 and awarded Montauk local, Colleen Edwards, $1,000 for her undergraduate studies at Hofstra University.

Tony D’Alessio will reprise his role as Scrooge, with Lee Michel and Hanna Medler as Bianca and Clara Darling, the story’s narrators,

Tickets begin at $15 through $55 and vary by seat; they can be purchased by visiting our website at ourfabulousvarietyshow.org or calling (631) 594-2906.

OFVS will also present a Holiday Cabaret Thanksgiving weekend on Friday, November 27th and Saturday, November 28 at 7:30 p.m. The Friday performance will feature local personality WBAZ’s Walker Vreeland, while the Saturday performance will feature Danny Ximo of the Raffa Show. The show will consist of holiday songs with a twist, comedic monologues, OFVS favorites, and will include several local musicians, actors and dancers at each performance bringing it back to the old school days of our traditional vaudeville style variety show. Tickets for these performances vary from $20 to $35 and $10 for students.
