Parlor Music Concert Series Returns

The first Bridgehampton Historical Society “Parlor Music” concert of the fall will kick off the series on Friday, October 7, at 7 p.m., with vocalist Joanna Howard and saxophonist John Ludlow.

Jazz will be the theme of this year’s lineup, with five popular “Art of Song” concerts starting October 7 and continuing on the first Friday of each month through February, 2012. Additional concerts are planned for November 4, December 2, January 6 and February 3.

Ms. Howard and Mr. Ludlow will be joined by pianist Jane Hastay and bassist Peter Martin Weiss during the first concert this Friday. Ms. Hastay and Mr. Weiss will continue to accompany musical acts during each of the concerts in the series.

All concerts will be played at the Bridgehampton Historical Society’s Archives Building and will start at 7 p.m. Admission is $25 per person, $10 for members, and children under 12 are free.
