Twenty 20-second slides, one rapid-fire presentation — multiplied by eight. This is PechaKucha.
The 22nd volume of the popular series will kick off the Parrish Art Museum’s winter season on Friday, December 8, at 6 p.m. with a fresh slate of speakers: artists Peter Solow and Linda Capello, photographer Eric Striffler, multi-media artist and educator Andrea Cote, artist and photographer Jeremy Dennis, horticulturist and arborist Alex Feleppa, certified planner Sara Gordon, and music journalist Christian John Wikane.
Each presenter will take the stage for six minutes and 40 seconds, speaking about living creatively on the East End, before passing off the mic. Tickets are $12, or free for members, children and students, and the museum is located at 279 Montauk Highway in Water Mill. For more information, please call (631) 283-2118 or visit parrishart.org.
