LTV Studios and Hamptons JazzFest will present genre-defying pianist Julius Rodriguez as part of the McIver Jazz Piano Series on Monday, August 18, at 6 p.m. at LTV Studios in Wainscott.

The McIver Jazz Piano Series offers intimate evenings of music and conversation with acclaimed pianists in the cozy setting of the LTV Piano Lounge. Rodriguez — known for his inventive blend of jazz, gospel, hip-hop, R&B and pop — brings a fresh, contemporary energy to the series. Nicknamed “Orange Julius,” the 26-year-old prodigy has already shared stages with Wynton Marsalis, Meshell Ndegeocello and A$AP Rocky. His 2022 debut album, “Let Sound Tell All,” was released on Verve Records to critical acclaim.

Born in White Plains, New York, Rodriguez began classical piano studies as a child and later trained at the Manhattan School of Music and The Juilliard School. Today, he’s recognized as one of the most exciting young artists reshaping modern jazz.

Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 at the door, and $10 for students with valid ID. VIP café table seating is available for $35 and includes a complimentary drink. Tickets can be purchased at ltveh.org. The performance will take place at LTV Studios, 75 Industrial Road in Wainscott.
