Prokofiev’s 'Peter and the Wolf' In Sag Harbor

The Sag Harbor Community Band will perform Sergei Prokofiev’s “Peter and the Wolf” on Tuesday, July 30, at 8 p.m. in Sag Harbor’s Marine Park as part of its 66th summer season.

Actor Josh Gladstone will narrate the beloved symphonic tale, guiding Peter through some treacherous situations, as music director David M. Brandenburg and the band provide the musical characters, like the oboe duck and the clarinet cat, to help tell the story. The band will add a few other tunes from its repertoire to round out a special night under the stars.

Admission is free, and donations are accepted. Audience members are encouraged to bring a blanket or chair, and of course, the whole family.
