Kasey Zeidner of East Quogue, Brian Schwartz of Southampton and Kayla Myers of Riverhead, left to right, are among the seventh graders at Ross School in East Hampton who curated an art show, “Spectrum,” featuring the works of six East End artists.
For 15 years, seventh graders at Ross have tackled the ambitious project, overseeing the entire process of creating a show. This year, they once again took on roles of photographers, videographers, interviewers and installers, meeting with each of the artists and creating their own pieces to hang alongside those of the professionals.
Students worked with local artists Cynthia Knott, Monica Banks, David Collins, Mary Heilmann, Sheila Isham, and Frank Wimberley.
“Spectrum” will remain on display through Wednesday, June 24.
