‘Say It With Flowers’ Brings Vibrant Floral Art to Montauk’s Depot Gallery

The Depot Art Gallery in Montauk will present “Say It With Flowers,” a lively group exhibition featuring floral-themed artworks by 26 local artists. The show runs from Thursday, August 28, through Monday, September 8. An opening reception will be held Saturday, August 30, from 5 to 7 p.m., featuring live music in the upstairs studio.

The exhibit includes a variety of styles and mediums, including pastels, watercolors, oils, acrylics, ceramics and glass. Organizers describe the show as a “crowd-pleasing” display that will appeal to art lovers of all ages.

Featured artists include Deborah Acquino, Lois Bender, Patricia Britton, Nancy Brody, Phyllis Chillingworth, Donna Corvi, Mary Daunt, Robin Gianis, Laurie Hall, Kathy Havlik, Teresa Lawler, Carol Link, Trina Lyons, Liz Mac Carron, Anne Palermo, Amy Pollack, Alison Seiffer, Andrea Sher, Juliana Sheehan, Jim Slezak, Frank Sofo, Lou Spitalnick, Bob Sullivan, Diane Tetelman, Diane R. White and Rita Zimmer.

Visitors can view the exhibit Thursdays through Mondays from noon to 5 p.m. The gallery is located at the Montauk railroad station, at the corner of Flamingo Avenue and South Edgemere Street. For more information, visit montaukartistsassociation.org.
