Plaza Café Wine Dinner

The Plaza Café off Hill Street in Southampton Village will offer a Lail Wine Dinner on Sunday, August 29.

Plaza Café chef and owner Doug Gulija said this week that the wine dinner offers a rare opportunity to experience “a direct connection to some of the seminal figures of the California, and indeed, the American wine industry as we know it.” Robin Lail traces her roots back to Finnish sea captain, Gustave Niebaum, who, in 1879, founded the Inglenook Winery in Northern California.

At the August 29 dinner, Robin Lail will share her story, in person, as she hosts this very special, harvest season wine dinner. More information can be found at plazacafe.us/Lail_Promo.html, where menu and pricing information will be posted soon; or call 631-283-9323.
