Quogue Chamber Music celebrates its 15th season with pianist Simone Dinnerstein and the ensemble Baroklyn in an all-Bach program on Saturday, June 15, at 7:30 p.m.

In 2009, Simone Dinnerstein founded “Neighborhood Classics,” an open concert series to raise funds for education programs in the New York public schools. She also created “Bach-Packing,” where she travels to elementary schools to teach young children about the music of Bach. She is a committed supporter and proud alumna of Philadelphia’s Astral Artists, which supports young performers. She also presents two series anchored by Bach at the Miller Theatre at Columbia University and the Gogue Center for the Performing Arts at Auburn University, featuring her string ensemble, Baroklyn, which she founded and directs.

Baroklyn ensemble includes soloists Jennifer Johnson Cano, mezzo soprano; Peggy Pearson, oboe; and Rebecca Fischer, violin.

Quogue Chamber Music presented its first concert in September 2009, which included Johann Sebastian Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No. 2. Now, 15 years later, they are celebrating with this all-Bach concert by Dinnerstein.

The concert will take place at the Quogue Community Hall, 125 Jessup Lane, Quogue. Tickets are $50 adults, ($110 includes post-concert celebration with the artists) $5 for students and can be purchased at quoguechambermusic.org or at the door.
