Songwriters Share With Fred Raimondo

The 5th annual Songwriters Share concert series at the Unitarian Universalist Meetinghouse in Bridgehampton offers musicians to share their talents with audiences while also sharing the proceeds of the concert with a local charity of their choice.

The fourth concert of the series on Friday, April 5, at 7:30 p.m. features singer, songwriter and storyteller Fred Raimondo. Currently recording his third solo album, “Cinema,” Mr. Raimondo has been writing songs for over 30 years. He is a regular performer at many area venues and takes part in many songwriter showcases and house concerts.

As a member of the original acoustic trio Damaged Goods, Mr. Raimondo shared the stage with acts and musicians such as Jorma Kaukonen, Taj Mahal, Rick Danko, Maria Muldar, Joe Ely, Suzanne Vega, Roger McGuinn, Donovan, Aztec Two Step and The Marshal Tucker Band.

He still regularly performers with Damaged Goods and the cosmic surf band The Woodworkers.

The concert takes place Friday, April 5 at 7:30 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Meetinghouse at 977 Sag Harbor/Bridgehampton Turnpike. Admission is $20 ($15 students).
