Directed by brothers Ben and Orson Cummings, the 2017 documentary film "Killer Bees" follows the Bridgehampton High School championship basketball team as it works its way through playoffs on the way to a state championship. The team has long been a source of pride, tradition and hope for a community struggling to survive in the middle of The Hamptons, one of the wealthiest communities in America.
On Friday, August 9, at 5 p.m., the Southampton History Museum will screen "Killer Bees" at Rogers Mansion, 17 Meeting House Lane, Southampton. All are welcome to attend and there will be light refreshments served. Admission is free, but reservations requested at 631-283-2494.
