Stages, A Children’s Theatre Workshop, Inc., is hosting its first annual “Princess Party” on Sunday, July 26, at the Grenning Gallery in Sag Harbor.

The event, which will run from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m., will commemorate 15 years of Stages producing live family theater on the East End of Long Island. Proceeds from the party will benefit its scholarship program, which insures that Stages can remain accessible to all children.

Children ages 3 years and older are invited to come and meet their favorite fairy tale princesses. There will be a special live musical performance by the princesses, a “regal” silent auction, and “royal” gifts for all. Attendees will enjoy pastries and savories at the Princess Tea Table, and to round out the festivities, princess paraphernalia and professional photographs with the princesses will be available for purchase.

Dressing like a princess is highly recommended.

Since 1994, Stages has touched the lives of thousands of children, including those who perform on stage as well as those who are in its audiences. Stages has produced more than 75 full-length musical productions in the After School Performance Workshop and in the popular Summer Stock program. Stages also offers a creative drama class, which is an introduction to acting for younger children. Renowned for the quality and professionalism of its theatrical productions, Stages has become an important theatrical presence on the East End.

Entrance to the party is $60 for an adult with one child, and each additional child is $35. Each group must be accompanied by an adult.

For more information, or to reserve a place for you and your princess, call 329-1420.
