Sticks & Stones Comedy will present an “All-Star Stand-Up Comedy Show” featuring Michelle Schwartzman, Rob White, Joe Winchell and the Sticks & Stones All-Star Comedy Lineup on Saturday, November 15, at 8 p.m. at the Southampton Cultural Center. Doors open at 7:30 p.m.
Fresh from her sold-out show at Joe’s Pub, special guest and Southampton resident D’yan Forest will join the lineup. Forest holds the Guinness World Records title for the oldest working female comedian in the world at age 89. Often called “the naughty Betty White,” she has appeared on “The Drew Barrymore Show,” Time Out New York, The Guardian and New York Live.
Forest has performed at venues including Gotham Comedy Club, The Broadway Comedy Club and Le Poisson Rouge. Her one-woman show, “I Married a Nun,” placed her alongside comedy greats Jerry Seinfeld, Jim Gaffigan and the late Joan Rivers, who once called her “the filthy ukulele player.” Forest also chronicled her life in her memoir, “I Did It My Ways.” Her most recent show, “Swinging on the Seine After Dark,” sold out at Joe’s Pub and Frigid Festival earlier this year.
Raised in the suburbs of Boston, Forest began her career as a singer before transitioning to comedy following the September 11 attacks. Her work draws on her life in Paris, her cabaret roots and her sharp wit, blending humor and song in a way that has captivated audiences for decades.
Tickets range from $35 to $70 and include fees. Seating options include general admission, reserved and VIP. Snacks, drinks, live music and an art gallery will be available before the show.
The Southampton Cultural Center is located at 25 Pond Lane, Southampton, New York. For tickets and more information, visit southamptonculturalcenter.org.
