Sunset Serenades: A Musical Celebration With The Hamptons Festival of Music

authorStaff Writer on Apr 12, 2025

The Hamptons Festival of Music (TH·FM for short) will be offering “Sunset Serenades: A Hamptons Summer Celebration” with the second iteration of its East End tour.

Kick off the summer season with “The Tour of the Hamptons 2.0,” four concerts offered at four different venues from May 29 to May 30. The concerts will feature eight members of TH·FM’s Salon Orchestra Ensemble Player performing Vivaldi’s “Summer” from “The Seasons,” while Mozart’s serenade “Eine Kleine Nachtsmusik” will be performed by Met-Opera award-winning soprano Greer Lyle.

These performances are designed to bring the magic of music to the community and are the culmination of TH·FM’s school outreach to over 650+ students. A portion of all proceeds go to underwrite free and reduced tickets for students in our community. In addition to the members of TH·FM’s orchestra and Greer Lyle, the music will be presented by TH·FM’s assistant concertmaster Garry Ianco under the direction of the organization’s associate conductor, Logan Souther. Tickets are $40 at thehamptonsfestivalofmusic.com.

The four performances dates are:

Thursday, May 29, at 7 p.m. — Springs Community Presbyterian Church, 5 Old Stone Highway, East Hampton.

Friday, May 30, at 7 p.m. — St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 8 James Lane, East Hampton.

Saturday, May 31, at 2 p.m. — Christ Episcopal Church, 5 Hampton Street, Sag Harbor

Saturday, May 31, at 7 p.m. — St. Ann’s Episcopal Church, 2463 Main Street, Bridgehampton.
