For fashion designer and artist Paulo Josepetti, a design is more than just a garment; it’s an expression of creativity and storytelling. Join The Church on Friday, March 28, at 2 p.m. as Josepetti speaks on his work and learn how his upbringing and commitment to sustainability have shaped his career.

Deeply inspired by the vibrant culture of his Brazilian heritage, Josepetti, who is an artist-in-residence at The Church from March 27 to April 9, seamlessly blends art and fashion, specializing in one-of-a-kind custom fabrications that emphasize individuality and craftsmanship. Throughout his practice, he remains committed to the use of sustainable materials and practices, frequently employing linen, raw silk, and other natural fibers.

Josepetti is a fashion designer from Brazil, currently based in New York City. His work spans from conceptualization to illustration, design, fabrication, and more. His projects connect nature and materials that are readily available, including oil paints, acrylics, fabrics, and pastel chalks.

Admission to the talk is free. Visit thechurchsagharbor.org for more information. The Church is at 48 Madison Street in Sag Harbor.
