Taylor Swift has a new bestie: the Food Network’s one and only Barefoot Contessa, Ina Garten.

Last week, the ladies were all smiles inside the celebrity chef’s East Hampton kitchen, where the country-pop star snapped a selfie with her culinary mentor that she posted to Instagram.

“A day of cooking in the Hamptons with my HERO,” Ms. Swift captioned the photo. “How bad can that be?”

Ms. Garten, a self-proclaimed “huge Taylor Swift fan,” reposted the picture and echoed the 24-year-old’s admiration.

“Just another day at the office—OMG cooking with Taylor Swift!” she wrote. “Love her!!!”

Cheers to the beginning of a beautiful friendship.
