Harry Warren composed more than 1,000 songs, many of which served as the soundtrack of the lives of Americans for over a century. “Lullaby of Broadway,”“Shuffle Off to Buffalo,”“Chattanooga Choo Choo,”“Jeepers Creepers,”“I Only Have Eyes For You,”“We’re In The Money,”“42nd Street,”“You Must Have Been a Beautiful Baby,”“You’ll Never Know” and “That’s Amore!” — all were written by Warren.
On Saturday, November 9 at 1 p.m., Bob Spiotto will present “A Musical Tribute to Harry Warren” at East Hampton Library. Spiotto will share the story of Warren’s career and present a selection of his best-known songs.
Spiotto has worked in arts and entertainment for more than 30 years and is currently the director of programs and special events at New York’s famed Friars Club. East Hampton Library is at 159 Main Street, East Hampton. To register call 631-324-0222 ext. 3.
