In April 2018, The Allman Betts Band performed at a sold-out concert at Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center (WHBPAC).

Over Fourth of July weekend, the three sons of The Allman Brothers Band—Gregg Allman’s son Devon, Dickie Bett’s son Duane, and Berry Oakley’s son Berry Jr.—return for two back-to-back concerts that will pay homage to their fathers while proving that rock runs in their veins.

The Allman Betts Band will perform on consecutive nights on the East End—Friday, July 5, at WHBPAC, and Saturday, July 6, at Guild Hall in East Hampton. Joining them on stage will be Johnny Stachela (slide guitar) and percussionists R. Scott Bryan and John Lum. Blues player JD Simo will open both shows.

The Allman Betts Band has been celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Allman Brothers Band with a worldwide tour that features new music, songs from their solo projects and classic Allman Brothers and Gregg Allman tunes. The sons don’t rest on the laurels of their fathers, but honor them with their own original concoction of Southern Rock, and their East End appearances coincide with the release of their new album featuring new music, songs from their solo projects and classic Allman Brothers and Gregg Allman tunes. The album was recorded at the legendary Muscle Shoals Sound Studios in Alabama and was produced by Matt Ross-Spang. Former Allman Brothers Band keyboardist and current Rolling Stones keyboardist, Chuck Leveall, played on the record.

The Allman Betts Band, Friday, July 5, 8 p.m. Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center, 76 Main Street, Westhampton Beach. Tickets $56 to $81 at WHBPAC.org or 631-288-1500. Saturday, July 6, 8 p.m. Guild Hall, 158 Main Street, East Hampton. Tickets $50 to $150 ($45 to $145 members) at guildhall.org or 631-324-4050.
