The tables will be turned on May/December romance this month when “The Graduate” is staged at the Southampton Cultural Center.
The play, written by Terry Johnson and based on the 1963 novel of the same name by Charles Webb, opens at the Cultural Center on Thursday, July 12, and runs through Sunday, July 29.
Michael Disher directs the Center Stage production. The cast includes Vincent Carbone as Benjamin Braddock and Brooke Alexander as Mrs. Robinson, plus Bethany Dellapolla Seth Hendricks, Barbara Jo Howard, Stewart Mead, Stephanie Roberts and John Tramontana.
Performances are Thursdays at 7 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 5 p.m. General admission is $22 and the student rate (under 21 with ID) is $12. Group rates are available and reservations are encouraged. For tickets, call 287-4377 or visit scc-arts.org.
