On Saturday, September 2, D’yan Forest, Southampton resident and Guinness World Record title holder for Oldest Working Comedian, will be back performing on the East End.

She will be joined by fellow comedian and host Joe Winchell at the Sticks and Stones Comedy Club at Southampton Cultural Center with shows at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m.

D’yan Forest was raised a provincial girl in the conservative suburbs of Boston. After a “scandalous” divorce for the time and two years of oral French lessons, Forest got on a five-day boat ride to study abroad in Paris. After falling in love with the city, Forest fully embraced French culture, which would determine the trajectory of the rest of her career.

Back in the U.S., Forest performed as an international singer at golf clubs, country clubs, bar, and restaurants. Her life as a singer was cut short when the entertainment business in New York was brought to a halt after the 9/11 attacks. With no idea that she had the capability to be funny, Forest became what the world needed the most at that time: a comedian. With her ukulele in hand, Forest put together a hysterical and risqué one-woman show which caught on quickly. Her act, accurately called “I Married a Nun,” landed her on the same stages as Jerry Seinfeld, Jim Gaffigan and Joan Rivers. In fact, upon meeting Rivers, she referred to Forest as “the filthy ukulele player.” COVID-19 got Forest to wondering what else she could do with all of her wonderfully hilarious stories from life. “I Did It My Ways” is the culmination of her sitcom-worthy life events, now available for all to read.

At the ripe young age of 89, D’yan shows no signs of stopping and continues to wow her audience with her not-so-PG stand-up, complete with her trusty ukulele. Her new act, “Swinging on the Seine,” can still be seen in New York and Paris at some of the most famed comedy clubs like Joe’s Pub, Caroline’s Gotham Comedy Club, and New York Comedy Club.

Tickets for the show start at $35. Sticks and Stones Comedy Club is at Southampton Cultural Center, 25 Pond Lane, Southampton.

Sticks and Stones Comedy Club upcoming dates:

Friday, September 1, 7 and 9 p.m. - Marina Franklin and Matt Ritter

Just off her tour with Sarah Silverman, Marina Franklin is a creative force as a comedian, actor, writer, and host. A favorite at comedy festivals around the world — including the Melbourne Comedy Festival, Scotland’s Glasgow Comedy Festival, BBC’s World Stand’s Up and more. Franklin can be seen in Hulu’s “Life and Beth,” the HBO movie “Trainwreck” with her friend Amy Schumer, and her top-rated podcast “Friends Like Us.”

Featuring Matt Ritter, who hosts the podcast “Man of the Year” and has been seen on the “Today Show,” NPR and in The New York Times. His stand-up album “40 Year Old Version” debuted at #1 on iTunes.

Saturday, September 2, 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. - D’yan Forest and Friends

Fresh from wowing Drew Barrymore on her appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show, D’yan Forest, aka “the naughty Betty White” holds the Guinness World Records title for the Oldest Working Female Comedian in the World at 89 years young.

Friday, September 8, 7 and 9 p.m. – Ben DeMarco and Remy Kassimer

Co-Headliners Ben DeMarco (seen on MTV, FX and Comedy Central) and Remy Kassimer (Bravo’s “Real Housewives of New York”) she hosts Betches Media’s podcast “Diet Starts Tomorrow” anchoring this show.

Doors open an hour before each show so guests can mingle in Southampton Cultural Center art gallery and enjoy drinks and nibbles in a social and festive environment. Sticks and Stones Comedy Club will continue its fall series on October 18, 19, 20, 26, November 3, 4 and 17, and December 1, 2 and 3.
