“The Painting Show,” a group show curated by folioeast, will be on view at Ashawagh Hall in Springs from October 29 to November 1 and it celebrates painting in its many iterations. The works on canvas, paper and wood express a range of moods, textures and sensibilities. Underlying all the work is a love for the medium of paint itself, whether watercolor acrylic or oil.

The exhibition includes established East End artists as well as newer, up-and-coming painters. Artists are Ani Antreaysan, Joe Henry Baker, Perry Burns, Anahi DeCanio, Diane Englander, Denise Gale, Hiroyuki Hamada, Kryn Olson, Jean Marc Sideratos and Will Ryan.

“The Painting Show” will be on view at Ashawagh Hall, 780 Springs Fireplace Road, East Hampton, from Friday, October 29 through Monday, November 1. A reception will be held Saturday, October 30, from 5 to 7 p.m. Gallery hours are Friday through Monday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
