authorStaff Writer on Nov 21, 2025

The Suffolk will host a series of holiday performances in Riverhead in November and December, featuring tributes to some of music’s most iconic voices and styles.

“Absolute Adele” With Jennifer Cella will take the stage on Saturday, November 29, at 8 p.m. Cella, best known as the lead vocalist with the multi-platinum Trans-Siberian Orchestra, channels Adele with remarkable accuracy, performing alongside top-tier musicians. The show celebrates Adele’s career, including her sixteen Grammy Awards, twelve Brit Awards, an Academy Award, a Golden Globe, and a Primetime Emmy.

On Sunday, December 7, at 7 p.m., audiences can enjoy “Top of the World: A Carpenters Tribute.” Singer Debbie Taylor leads a seven-piece band in recreating the complex arrangements of Richard Carpenter, performing classics such as “Close To You,” “We’ve Only Just Begun,” “Rainy Days and Mondays,” “Please Mr. Postman” and “Yesterday Once More.”

“The Great American Soulbook” returns on Thursday, December 11, at 8 p.m., featuring the American Soul Band. The show delivers a high-energy tribute to Motown, R&B, and iconic soul music spanning the 1960s to today, with four male lead singers channeling The Temptations and Deanna Carroll performing as Diana Ross. Hits include music by Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston, Luther Vandross, Boyz II Men, and many more.

Rounding out the series is “An Elegant Evening of Sinatra & The Great American Songbook” on Friday, December 12, at 8 p.m. The 19-piece New Millennium Jazz Band performs Sinatra classics and selections from The Great American Songbook in a setting suited to The Suffolk’s 1930s ballroom, offering a full dance floor for audience members who wish to dance.

Ticket prices range from $29 to $95, depending on the performance, plus applicable fees at thesuffolk.org. The Suffolk is at 118 East Hampton Street in Riverhead.
