The Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center will present Theatre IV’s heartfelt, family friendly production of “The Velveteen Rabbit” on Saturday, February 27, at 11 a.m.

The musical production brings to life the beloved Margery Williams tale of friendship and unconditional love between a boy and his toy rabbit. A beautiful score and detailed turn-of-the-century costumes have earned high marks for this production from children and their families.

Before the performance, the PAC is offering a Creative Dramatics Workshop in which participants will use movement, improvisation, and games to create characters and stories. The workshop will be offered at Studio B, around the corner from the PAC front entrance on Sunset Avenue from 10 to 10:45 a.m. The fee is $5 per child and the workshop is limited to 20 participants. Registration is required; call the PAC box office at 288-1500 to reserve a spot.

For more information on “The Velveteen Rabbit,” call 288-1500 or visit whbpac.org. Tickets are $15 or $20, available by calling the Arts Center box office at 288-1500, stopping by the PAC at 76 Main Street, Westhampton Beach, or online at whbpac.org.
