'The Vibrator Play' Creates Buzz At The Bridge

HITFest will present the Long Island premiere of “In the Next Room,” also known as “The Vibrator Play,” by Sarah Ruhl at The Bridge in Bridgehampton, opening Thursday, May 9.

The sex comedy for grownups includes cast members: Licia James Zegar, Glenn Thomas Cruz, Bonnie Grice, Caroline Smith, Joseph Brondo, Natasha Murray and Christian Scheider. While staging at Lincoln Center, it was nominated for three Tonys, including Best Play, and made the Pulitzer short list.

The Hamptons production will stage on Thursdays through Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. through Sunday, May 26. Tickets are $25 and available online at nextroom.eventbrite.com.
