Romany Kramoris Gallery will present a group show of four local artists — Casey Chalem Anderson, Thomas Condon, Katherine Milliken and Gayle Tudisco — from August 16 through September 5. The show opens with a reception for the artists on Saturday, August 17, from 5 to 6:30 p.m.

Casey Chalem Anderson is a Greenwich Village native who passionately creates oil paintings of and inspired by the Hamptons landscape and its natural forms. She splits her time between Sag Harbor and New York City, immersing herself in both natural and urban artistic worlds. She can often be found at the beach, observing the changes in time, color and weather, which manifest on her canvases as a balance between tranquility and visual stimulation.

Thomas Condon, who is a regular exhibitor at the Romany Kramoris Gallery, is principally known for his lush landscapes and floral compositions which are inspired by the natural settings from his homes in the Hamptons, New York City and Florida. A native New Englander, his architectural canvases, by contrast, are characterized by a sense of stark separateness, devoid of human presence and activity, yet filled with it.

Katherine Milliken is a professional artist and experienced educator. She specializes in painting from nature, deriving inspiration from natural, organic forms in the environment. This subject matter comes from her varied experiences outdoors including walking, gardening, horseback riding and safaris. She has exhibited her watercolor and oil paintings at the Southampton Cultural Center, Water Mill Museum, Guild Hall and other venues on the East End.

Gayle Tudisco is a plein air and photo reference artist who captures the landscapes that are so unique to the East End and Florida. Her work includes the many water views, marshes, barns and boathouses dotting the landscapes of these regions. She works in oils and brings to her work a unique sense of color and composition that allows the viewer to see the story behind the painting.

Romany Kramoris Gallery is at 41 Main Street in Sag Harbor. For details, visit kramorisgallery.com.
