As part of its new innovative programming initiative and Thursday night offerings, the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center (WHBPAC) is bringing “Savage Pianos” to the town for a show on March 19, at 7:30 p.m. “Savage Pianos” is a dueling piano show from New York City known for its lively and interactive events.
Two performers, Matt Tobin and Steve Savage, sit at facing pianos and take turns playing audience requests and curated playlists with tons of surprises thrown in along the way. Audience members should expect comedy, witty banter and excellent musicianship.
“Steve and I can’t wait to visit WHBPAC,” said Tobin. “While we’ve been fortunate enough to perform all over the world, it’s a rare treat to play in such a venue, home to many illustrious performers on a regular basis, and right in our backyard. Get ready for a non-stop, genre-bending night of all-request singing, clapping and an unforgettable time.”
“We are excited to bring Savage Pianos to the PAC because of its high energy performers and party vibe,” added WHBPAC’s interim executive director Julienne Penza-Boone.
Onstage seating and tableside drink service will be available for the event.
Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center is located at 76 Main Street, Westhampton Beach. For tickets, which start at $23, visit whbpac.org or call 631-288-1500.
