As summer gives way to autumn, the Women’s Art Center of the Hamptons (WACH) celebrates the changing of the seasons with an oyster feast on Friday, September 27, from 5 to 7 p.m. Stop in to WACH and enjoy oysters on the half shell provided by Shellworks, a family-operated sea farm in Southampton. Local baymen and women have been providing fresh shellfish to the community for centuries and are an important part of life on the East End.

In addition to oysters on the half shell, the exhibition “Feast: A Still Life” will hang on the walls featuring culinary delights both savory and sweet throughout the gallery. The work remains on view through October 31.

To ensure there are plenty of oysters for everyone, RSVP at info@wachamptonsny.org. Women’s Art Center of the Hamptons is at 2418 Main Street in Bridgehampton.
