HITFest will stage “In The Bar of a Tokyo Hotel” by Tennessee Williams at The Bridge, located at the Bridgehampton Community House on Montauk Highway in Bridgehampton, from Thursday, April 19, through Sunday, April 29. The play—a tale of love, loss, pain and beauty—will stage on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays at 2 p.m.

The action follows Mark, an alcoholic painter on the verge of a nervous breakdown, who convinces himself he is the first artist to discover color, and his wife, Miriam, a seductress who is intent on leaving her husband. The play’s main characters are said to be loosely based on Jackson Pollock and Lee Krasner. The HITFest production stars Seth Hendricks, Licia James-Zegar, Glenn L. Cruz and Terrence Fiore. Josh Perl directs.

Tickets are available online at the website tokyo-hitfest.eventbrite.com or by telephone at 525-2995.
