LTV Studios’ “Hamptons Summer Songbook by the Sea” will present “Moipei Embraces New York” on Saturday, August 30, at 7:30 p.m., featuring the acclaimed vocal trio of Mary, Maggy and Marta Moipei.

Produced by LTV’s creative director Josh Gladstone and independent producer Donna Rubin, Hamptons Summer Songbook by the Sea is a celebrated concert series showcasing premier cabaret and Broadway talent in an intimate setting.

Hailing from Nairobi, Kenya, the Moipei sisters — identical triplets — bring a globally inspired performance rooted in the American Songbook, classic and contemporary Broadway, Duke Ellington and Benny Goodman jazz, gospel, pop and traditional Swahili folk music. Known for their impeccable harmonies and magnetic stage presence, the trio blends genres into a cohesive and uplifting evening of song and storytelling.

Described as “a guaranteed smile on your face,” their performances have earned them national and international acclaim. Highlights include appearances at the Kennedy Center, Birdland Jazz Club, 54 Below, Sony Hall and Merkin Hall. In 2023, they were voted Best Vocal Group in the BroadwayWorld Cabaret Awards and received the prestigious Julie Wilson Award. As children, the sisters were named UNICEF ambassadors for Kenya and have been honored by the president of Kenya for their contributions to music and culture.

Tickets are $60 for general admission ($65 at the door) and $100 for VIP cocktail table seating, which includes a drink ticket. Reserve at ltveh.org. LTV Studios is at 75 Industrial Road in Wainscott.
