Television just keeps coming back to the Town of East Hampton.

According to Deputy Town Clerk Harold Graham, the HBO series “Girls” has been filming scenes for the hit comedy’s final season in Montauk this past week. Mr. Graham confirmed that creator/writer/star Lena Dunham and company have been shooting at various locations including Eddie Ecker State Park and Atlantic Terrace. The crew has been filming episodes all throughout the week and are reportedly leaving the area sometime this afternoon.

Mr. Graham also confirmed that TV Land comedy “Younger,” starring Sutton Foster, Hilary Duff and Debi Mazar, has been filming scenes for its upcoming third season in the area. The show has been reportedly shooting at Gurney’s Montauk Resort & Seawater Spa and Amagansett Square from Monday through Friday. Mr. Graham also said that the show will be shooting scenes at the Stephen Talkhouse in Amagansett tonight.

One of Montauk’s most frequent small-screen visitors has been the cast and crew of Showtime’s acclaimed drama, “The Affair,” which is shooting its third season. Mr. Graham said the show has also been filming in Montauk this month, including at the Montauk train station this past Tuesday, the Roughriders’ Landing Condominiums on Tuesday and Wednesday, and The Lobster Roll in Amagansett on Monday. Most of the time, the production is filming at a private residence.
