Guild Hall’s summer season continues with a slate of high-profile programming that includes celebrity comedy, food world insights and a Broadway-themed evening of music and stories. The events, taking place July 26 and 27, include:
“Celebrity Autobiography” Returns to Guild Hall for One Night Only
The international comedy sensation “Celebrity Autobiography” returns to Guild Hall on Saturday, July 26, with two performances at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m.
Created by Emmy nominee Eugene Pack, the Drama Desk Award-winning show features stars performing unintentionally hilarious excerpts from celebrity memoirs. This edition’s cast includes Scott Adsit (“30 Rock”), Christie Brinkley, Craig Bierko (“UnREAL”), Carson Kressley (“RuPaul’s Drag Race”), Jackie Hoffman (“Only Murders in the Building”), Richard Kind, Sherri Shepherd, and creators Eugene Pack and Dayle Reyfel. Tickets start at $25.
“Stirring the Pot” With Florence Fabricant and Guest Chef Marc Murphy
On Sunday, July 27, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., “Stirring the Pot” returns for its 15th season at Guild Hall. The popular culinary conversation series, moderated by New York Times food and wine writer Florence Fabricant, will feature guest chef Marc Murphy, known for his appearances on the Food Network and his restaurants in New York City and abroad. Guests are invited to arrive at 10 a.m. for a breakfast provided by Citarella. Tickets start at $35.
“Academy Icons” With Jeffrey Seller, Adam Pascal and Seth Rudetsky
On Sunday, July 27, from 7 to 8:30 p.m., Guild Hall presents “Academy Icons: Jeffrey Seller With Adam Pascal and Seth Rudetsky.” The Tony Award-winning producer of “Hamilton,” “In the Heights” and “Rent” will discuss his new memoir, “Theater Kid,” and share behind-the-scenes stories from his groundbreaking Broadway productions. The evening includes live performances by Broadway star Adam Pascal, with Seth Rudetsky hosting and playing piano. A book signing will follow the event. Tickets start at $25.
