The Suffolk will present “Uptown: A Celebration of Motown & Soul” on Friday, October 17, at 8 p.m.

From the heart of New York City, Uptown is a dynamic vocal group known for blending the smooth stylings of classic R&B with the energy and polish of modern pop. Their performances channel the stage presence of Bruno Mars combined with the timeless vocals of legends like Stevie Wonder and Marvin Gaye.

Each member of the group is a soloist in their own right, bringing distinct flair and personality to the stage. With a mix of choreography, powerhouse vocals and infectious charisma, Uptown creates an experience that keeps audiences on their feet dancing and singing from start to finish.

The group’s show spans genres and decades, putting a fresh spin on beloved classics and offering high-energy performances that celebrate the soul and sound of Motown while embracing today’s musical pulse.

Tickets are from $29 to $79 at thesuffolk.org. The Suffolk is located at 118 East Main Street in Riverhead.
