The White Room Gallery opens a new exhibition, “What’s Not To Love,” an eclectic showing of gallery artists, with a reception on Saturday, February 1, from 5 to 7 p.m. The show will run from January 17 to March 19.

“For the first exhibit of the new year, we wanted to do a collective of artists new and old,” noted the gallery’s owners Andrea McCafferty and Kat O’Neill in a curator’s statement. “It is a wonderful mix of the four mediums the gallery represents — painting, photography, mixed and sculpture.

“Blank walls are just that, blank. Walls with art take you on a journey — engaging, inspiring, remembering, wondering, questioning, enjoying and in all likelihood appreciating. We know everyone has their own taste and this exhibit of ‘What’s Not To Love’ respects the diversity of styles that entice. As we mentioned in our holiday card, art lovers live longer — 10 years longer by CNN’s estimation. So, here’s to longevity.”

Artists with work in the show include: Rock Therrien, Paul Fuentes, Sabeena Jindal, Bob Tabor, Fringe, John Joseph Hanright, Christine Matthai, John Francis Gallager, Sylvie Perrin and others. Also on view in the gallery’s permanent collection is work by Russell Young, Nelson De La Nuez, Markus Klinko, Craig Alan, Greg Lotus and Punk Me Tender.

The White Room Gallery is at 3 Railroad Avenue in East Hampton. Visit thewhiteroom.gallery for details.
