What is humor? Who gets to determine what is funny? Where do women comics find themselves in the comedy world? Is it harder to be a comedian these days? Join The Church on Saturday, August 10, at 3 p.m. as three brilliant women, writers and comedians come together in conversation to talk about these questions and more.

Speaking will be Kestrin Pantera, an award-winning film writer/director, Nancy Parker, stand-up comedy legend, and Caroline Waxler, acclaimed writer and producer. They will be joined by moderator Abby Russell, of the Sticks and Stones Comedy Club in Southampton.

After the discussion, the panel will open to the audience for a Q&A. Tickets are $15 ($10 members) at thechurchsagharbor.org. The Church is at 48 Madison Street in Sag Harbor. Visit thechurchsagharbor.org for details.
