Stony Brook Southampton’s winter Writers Speak program kicks off on Wednesday, February 26, with an author talk by Alexandra Styron at 7 p.m.
Ms. Styron is the author of “Reading My Father,” a memoir about her relationship with William Styron, and the novel “All The Finest Girls.” Her work has appeared in The New Yorker, The New York Times, Vanity Fair, The Financial Times and The Wall Street Journal.
Next up in the series will be Susan Wheeler on March 5, followed by Megan Abbott on March 12. In April, Masha Gessen will talk on April 2, Mark Epstein will speak on April 9 and Dinah Lenney will present on April 30.
The final Writers Speak of the spring season will be held on May 7 and will include students in the MFA in Creative Writing and Literature program.
