The Suffolk presents Stan Zizka’s “Shout! Shout! Knock Yourself Out!” on Sunday, April 23, at 4 p.m. Zizka’s Del Satins are back with a tribute to the music of Dion along with The Tribunes and Stiletto & The Saxman. The afternoon will feature a high-energy fusion of doo wop, classic rock n’ roll and a cappella all in one show.
Best known for their harmonies on hit records for Dion among others, some of The Del Satins’ most notable credits include “Runaround Sue” (which rose to #1 in the Billboard charts), “The Wanderer,” “Lovers Who Wander,” “Little Diane,” “Love Came to Me,” “Ruby Baby,” “Donna the Prima Donna,” “Drip Drop” and “Sandy.” They also sang backing vocals for Ernie Maresca’s 1962 hit “Shout! Shout! (Knock Yourself Out)” – hence the name of the show.
