Fans of “Zima!” the magical East End winter outdoor theatrical scavenger hunt, will be happy to know that the performance event returns to Montauk on Sunday, February 9, from 1 to 2:30 p.m.
Presented by Kate Mueth and The Neo-Political Cowgirls in partnership with The Montauk Playhouse Community Center Foundation, the Montauk Chamber of Commerce, and On Montauk, “Zima!” (which means winter in Polish) invites audiences to go on a magical journey in search of hidden characters and vignettes throughout town to discover answers to a mythological riddle.
Designed for all ages, the experience explores the depths of dreams, Jungian psychology and imagery inspired by the season.
Tickets can be purchased at a discount in advance at npcowgirls.org or on February 9 at the start of the event at the Montauk Gazebo on the Village Green. Advance tickets are $15 ($10 for students), and $20/$15 at the door. Hot cocoa and cookies will be served from 2 to 4 p.m. at The Montauk Playhouse after the journey has been completed and the answer to the riddle will be revealed.
